Crookham Rovers U23s finish third in debut season

Crookham Rovers U23s have wrapped up their first season in the Aldershot & District Football League's U23 Division with an impressive third-place finish.

Rovers ended the campaign on 25 points, just three behind runners-up Ash United and five adrift of league champions Bramley United. The team lost only three games all season in what proved to be a competitive and closely fought division.

Team coach Andrew Barber praised the players’ efforts and reflected proudly on the team’s achievements.

“It’s a fantastic result for us in our first ever season at this age group. To finish third and be so close to the top two shows just how hard the lads have worked. I want to thank every player, and all the friends and family who’ve supported us week in, week out – it’s made a massive difference,” he said.

Crookham Rovers U23s will now look to build on a successful league campaign as a foundation as they prepare for next season.
